Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Review and process vendor bills
  • Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
  • Records entry of, verifies documentation for, and distributes petty cash.
  • Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice / expense reports.
  • Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
  • Prepare and mail all required tax documents including 1099s.
  • Work with HR department on processing payroll including time entry verification and reconciliation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities:
  • Advanced MS Office skills, Excel and Word
  • Ability to work either independently or collaboratively as needed.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates a high degree of integrity, discretion, ethics and respect for confidential information.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented.
  • Epicor ERP and Paylocity HRIS experience a plus
Work Environment:
  • On-Site Presence required.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, fumes, and loud noises.
  • Employees are always required to wear P.P.E. While out on the production floor.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates in Business Administration or Accounting preferred.
  • 3-5 years' work with Accounts Payable
